Cyclist dies in horror crash with lorry

A cyclist has died following a horror lorry crash near Somerset. The victim of the crash, a man in his 30s suffered serious injuries and sadly died at the scene. Police were called to a crash on Stephenson Road, Westbury at approximately 1.30pm on Tuesday afternoon (July 9).

The crash involved a cyclist and a lorry. Despite best efforts by emergency services, the cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. His family have been told and are receiving support from specially trained officers.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
