Cyclist dies in fatal collision with lorry in Westbury

Police closed Stephenson Road at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, July 9, after receiving reports about the incident. At around 8pm, Wiltshire Police confirmed that a man in his 30s died at the scene. A spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision involving a cyclist and a lorry on Stephenson Road, Westbury at around 1.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.

“Despite the best efforts of the emergency services a man in his 30s died at the scene. “His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. “Our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
