Bedfordshire Police at scene of ‘serious collision’ in village

A main route through a village is closed after a "serious collision".

Bedfordshire Police said it was called to High Street in Greenfield, near Flitwick, at about 04:00 BST.

The road has been closed between its junctions with Pulloxhill Road and Westoning Road and diversions were put in place.

The public has been asked to avoid the area where possible.

In an unrelated incident, at about 05:15, a lorry overturned near the Clophill roundabout on the A6.
