School furniture manufacturer signs up to 10-year lease for Runcorn warehouse
A school furniture manufacturer has signed up for a 28,425 sq ft unit on Ashville Industrial Estate in Runcorn. Spaceforme has taken unit nine at the site on a 10-year lease to enable its expansion, in a deal facilitated by commercial property consultant, Legat Owen, on behalf of a private client. Spaceforme says it is the fastest growing educational and event furniture manufacturer in the UK, with its products sold worldwide.
The property was well placed to generate a lot of interest from potential new occupiers keen to capitalise on its location next to the M56. The detached, prominently located unit, has a warehouse with clear internal eaves to 6.6m, two roller shutter doors and a mix of open plan and cellular offices. The unit is located within the heart of Ashville Industrial Estate, with excellent connectivity to the regional motorway network and access to Chester, Warrington, Liverpool and Manchester.
Matthew Pochin, director, Legat Owen, said: “It has been a pleasure dealing with Geoff Devenish of Spaceforme and to help to facilitate the growth of his business. “The letting, once more, reflects the continued demand for industrial and warehouse space of quality in Cheshire.” Geoff Devenish, director, Spaceforme, said: “We got the deal completed within 12 weeks of us first viewing.
We will be ready to serve our customer projects during the busy summer season without interruptions. This is an exciting time in the journey of Spaceforme.” Click here to sign up to receive our new South West business news…
