RSE invests ?1.2 million in equipment for new freeport facility

RSE has opened its new facility in Deephaven, located within the Inverness & Cromarty Firth Green Freeport zone. As part of this expansion, the water technology business has invested GBP1.2m in equipment to enhance its production capabilities and support the growing demand driven by the the eighth asset management period (AMP8) from UK water companies. The new Deephaven facility will house a 3D Robotic Plasma Cutting Machine, which reduces fabrication preparation time by 60% and enhances the quality of fabricated items.

The Deephaven site spans two acres and includes two workshops, each equipped with 10-tonne overhead cranes. Stephen Slessor, chief executive of RSE, commented: “We’re thrilled to bring this new facility to Deephaven, which represents a significant investment in the future of water technology. “Not only does this expansion allow us to enhance our production capabilities, but it also brings new jobs and opportunities to the area.
