Road reopens after National Rail bridge works
A railway bridge has reopened after it closed for electrification work to the line.
Newton Lane, between Wistow and Wigston, has been closed by Network Rail since October.
Work to raise the bridge was carried out so that overhead wires could pass underneath.
The wires will eventually power East Midlands Railway's new bi-mode trains through the area as part of the Midland Main Line upgrade.
