Motorists are being warned of traffic delays this weekend as an abormal load travels along the motorway network. On Saturday evening (15 June) starting around 7pm police will be escorting a large abnormal load out of Brunton Shaw, Worksop[2] to Goole[3] docks. A spokesman said: "All of these previous moves have taken place without any issues but we would like to inform you of a potential for delays from the site on Sandy Lane, along the A57[4], then M1, M18[5] and M62[6].

"It usually takes us between three and four hours to reach the M1 due to the size of the load so please use another route if you are intending to use these roads.

"A number of agencies will be working along side us so please pay attention to any directions given by the crews.

Thankyou for your patience."
