M25 traffic: Lorry crash causing long queues and major delays

A lorry crash[1] on the M25[2] is causing long delays. Traffic[3] cameras show long delays on the clockwise carriageway near junction 26 at Waltham Abbey on the Hertfordshire/Essex[4] border. The crash, thought to be between two lorries according to the traffic monitoring service Inrix[5], happened at roughly 5.30am.

One person is reported to have suffered serious injuries. There is a diversion in place at junction 25. National Highways say there are delays on approach with 60-minute delays clockwise above normal travel time.

There are also 60-minute delays anti-clockwise as traffic moves slowly past the scene.
