M25 lorry crash leaves person hospitalised with serious injuries
A person has been hospitalised with serious injuries after a serious collision involving four vehicles on the M25 near to Epping. The major travel route is closed from junction 25 to junction 27[1] due to the serious accident. There are severe delays with a 12-mile queue anti-clockwise from Brentwood and congestion to Potters Bar at junction 24.
The M25 has been closed at junction 26 for Waltham Abbey since 5.30am and then from junction 25 just before 7.30am. In a statement, Essex Police has confirmed that four vehicles were involved and that one person has sustained serious injuries. They advised that the road will remain closed[2] whilst the scene is cleared.

Officers attended alongside fire and ambulance service colleagues.
"One casualty has been taken on to hospital with serious injuries, not believed to be life-threatening.
A road closure remains in place at the scene while this incident is cleared and enquiries continue."
