Live updates as roads closed after lorry crash and oil spillage

A number of roads are closed following a lorry crash and oil spillage in Bootle. Merseyside Police said Balliol Road East, Stanley Road, Hawthorne Road (City Bound) and Millers Bridge are currently closed. Officers said they were called to the scene at 5.20pm today, June 11, following reports of a crash between a lorry and a car.
