Live: Serious M25 lorry crash shuts carriageway near Enfield

A serious lorry crash has led to the part-closure of the M25 this morning near Enfield. Traffic reports suggest two lorries were involved in the incident which happened at J26 on the Hertfordshire/Essex border at Waltham Abbey. Emergency services were called to the scene at about 5.30am this morning (Wednesday, June 26).

Drivers passing through the area are currently facing delays of 45 minutes with congestion affecting traffic between Enfield and the M11 turn off. The crash has also led to 12 miles of anticlockwise traffic stretching back to Brentwood. We have contacted Essex Police for more information.
