Lanes shut on M62 after crash between car and lorry
Shortly before 5.30pm, National Highways said two lanes had been closed westbound from junction 25, for Brighouse, to junction 24, for Huddersfield, as a result of the collision. Drivers were warned of 30-minute delays and six miles of “heavy congestion” following the crash. Shortly before 6.30pm, National Highways confirmed all lanes had been reopened.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: “The vehicles from the earlier collision have been recovered and delays are easing.”
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire[1] Police said it was a “damage-only collision”.
