Crash on A1139 Frank Perkins Parkway involving lorry and van leaves road closed

A road near Peterborough is closed in both directions after a crash involving a lorry and a van. The incident was reported to have taken place just before 8am on Friday (June 14). The A1139 Frank Perkins Parkway is shut and there is queuing traffic in the area.

This is affecting people travelling between the A1139 to the A15 Paston Parkway (Eye Roundabout). Police have confirmed that there are no reported injuries at this time. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire[3] Police said: "Officers are on scene and dealing with a highways disruption on Frank Perkins parkway and an accident on the Eye roundabout.
