Saintfield crash leaves Motorcyclist in serious condition in hospital after collision involving lorry
A motorcyclist in his 50s is in a 'serious condition' in hospital after a crash in Co Down[1]. Police in Downpatrick are appealing for information following a two-vehicle collision which happened in Saintfield[2], on Monday, May 13. The collision, involving a lorry and a motorcycle, occurred at around 3.30pm on the Ballygowan Road at its junction with the Ballycloughan Road.
A PSNI[4] statement added: "The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50's, was taken to hospital following the collision where he remains in a serious condition. "Officers would ask anyone who witnessed the collision, or captured dash-cam footage which could be of assistance to their investigation, to contact them in Downpatrick on 101, quoting reference number 1220 13/05/24."
