Newport road closed after lorry crash with bridge
Newport City councillor Stephen Marshall, who was at the scene, posted a picture of the crash on social media to warn residents of the road closure.
He said that "the lorry was fully wedged and tilted to the side.
"People were nosing what was happening, but no overall concern as services were there quickly," he added.
The road reopened in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
