LIVE: M5 lane closed and queueing traffic after crash

A lane is currently closed on the M5 motorway following an incident this Bank Holiday Sunday. According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, traffic is queueing as a result of the closure, first reported to the site just before 4pm. Inrix reports: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M5 Southbound from junction 25 A358 (Taunton) to junction 26 A38 (Wellington).

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured, nor for how long the closure is expected to remain in place.
