BMW towed off Hanley retail park as police make ‘grisly’ discovery

Police have found a huge knife inside a BMW in a city centre stop. Two suspects have been arrested while the car was hauled off Century Retail Park, in Hanley. Officers believe the BMW 1 Series was also cloned.

Cops with Central Motorway Police Group are thought to have stopped the car in Hanley[1] yesterday (April 30). Photographs uploaded by the officers show the car being taken from Century Retail Park with the size of the knife explained by placing it next to a pen. The cops involved in the stop wrote on X: "This cloned vehicle was stopped in Stoke-on-Trent by officers from A-unit.

The knife found in the vehicle

"A search by officers led to the discovery of this grisly weapon and some cannabis.

Two people off to the cells to answer some questions. Vehicle seized." We have contacted Staffordshire Police[2] for further details on the arrests.
