The crash happened at around 6.25am and involved a lorry, a Triumph Tiger motorbike, a grey Peugeot Partner van and a silver Toyota Avensis. One person suffered injuries which are serious but not believed to be life-threatening and was taken to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth hospital for treatment by air ambulance.

An ambulance service spokesperson yesterday said that two other people were taken to Hereford County Hospital with injuries not believed to be serious.

The A49 was closed between Leominster and Woofferton from around 6.25 am to 1am this morning, with National Highways carrying out emergency resurfacing works.
