A390 crash: Lorry flips after collision with van near Liskeard

A lorry flipped on its side after crashing with a van near Liskeard. Police were called to the A390 near Hendra Park at 2.30pm this afternoon (Friday, May 31). Fire crews and paramedics also rushed to the scene.

Police said one man sustained minor injuries in the collision. At the time of writing (4.15pm), the A390 remains closed in both directions. There is slow traffic in the area and motorists should find alternative routes.

Devon and Cornwall Police[3] said: "Police were called at 2.30pm today, 31 May, following reports of a collision between a lorry and a van on the A390[4] near Hendra Park, Liskeard[5]. "The HGV overturned and ended up on its side. Ambulance and fire are in attendance.

One man has sustained minor injuries.

The road has been closed in both directions."
