Woman taken to hospital after three vehicle crash on main road

A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash[1] on a busy Cambridgeshire[2] road. Police were called at about 9am this morning (April 23) to the crash on the A10[3] near Little Thetford. The crash involved a lorry, a truck, and a car.

Emergency services attended and the road was clear by 11am. An East of England Ambulance Service[4] spokesperson said: “One ambulance attended a three-vehicle road traffic collision on Ely[5] Road, Little Thetford this morning. One woman was transported to Addenbrookes Hospital[6] for further assessment and care.”

A police spokesperson said shortly after 10.30am: “We were called at about 9am today (22 April) with reports of a collision between a lorry, a truck and a car on the A10 near Little Thetford. Emergency services are at the scene. Details of injuries are unclear at this stage but not thought to be life-threatening.”
