Ten road closures for Stroud motorists to know about

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour. The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week: o M5, from 8pm April 7 to 6am April 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 14 to 13, lane closure for barrier works. o M5, from 8pm March 27 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 14 to 13, lane closure for barrier works.

And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks: o M5, from 8pm April 8 to 6am April 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 14 exit and entry slip closed for white lining, diversion for exit slip via M5, junction 13 and back, diversion for entry slip via M5, junction 16 and back. o M5, from 8pm April 10 to 6am April 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 14 to 13, lane closure for white lining.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
