Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash with lorry on Cambridgeshire A-road

A motorcyclist has been left seriously injured after a crash on a Cambridgeshire[1] road on Tuesday (April 16). The crash on the A141 involved a lorry and a motorcycle. Police officers and paramedics attended the scene near the Tesco[2] at Abbots Ripton.

The road was closed for about four hours between 5.30pm and 9.30pm. A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 5.31pm yesterday with reports of a collision between a lorry and a motorcyclist on the A141. Officers attended, together with paramedics, and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

"The road had re-opened by 9.30pm. Anyone with any information regarding the collision, including dashcam footage, is urged to call 101 quoting incident 343 of 16 April." Do you want more of the latest Cambridgeshire news as it comes in?
