M3 lorry fire shuts motorway between Lightwater and Frimley
The incident happened on Tuesday, April 2 between junction 3 (Lightwater) and junction 4 (Frimley). All traffic had previously been stopped but some lanes have now been reopened. National Highways took to X to let drivers know about the incident.
National Highways South-East posted: "Traffic has temporarily STOPPED on the #M3 westbound between J3 (#Lightwater) and J4 (#Frimley) due to a HGV fire. @SurreyFRS are working on scene to extinguish the blaze." It has reported that there is currently delays of 15 minutes.
