M3 and A303: National Highways road closures to avoid

One of them is expected to cause moderate delays, with motorists facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes. The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks: o M3, from 8pm April 8 to 6am April 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 8 to junction 9, lane closures for maintenance work. o A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am July 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions M3, junction 9 to Three Maids Hill, carriageway closures for resurfacing work.

o A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to M3, junction 9 and A303 both directions Bullington to Micheldever, mobile lane closures for litter clearance. o A303, from 8pm April 19 to 6am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Micheldever, slip road and lane closures for inspection work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
