Dartford’s National Highways April road closures
National Highways, responsible for maintaining motorways and A-roads, warns that one of the closures might cause moderate delays, with wait times anticipated between 10-30 minutes. National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule. Here is the full list of closures to look out for:
o A2, from 8pm April 22 to 6am April 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 eastbound, Bean, diversion and lane closures for construction works. o A2, from 10pm April 22 to 6am April 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 westbound, Bean to Darenth, carriageway closure for electrical works. o A282, from 10pm April 22 to 5am April 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 Anticlockwise, junction 1A, Lane closure for barrier works. o A282, from 10pm April 23 to 5.30am April 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 1A, Lane closures for sign works. o A282, from 10pm April 24 to 5.30am April 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 1A Roundabout, Lane closures for electrical works. o A2, from 8pm April 27 to 6am April 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 eastbound, Ebbslfeet to Tollgate, slip road and lane closures for surface works. o A282, from 10pm April 27 to 5am April 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing West Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network.
o A282, from 10pm April 28 to 5am April 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing East Tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network. o A2, from 10.30pm April 28 to 5am May 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A2 eastbound, Bourne road to Old Bexley[1] Lane, carriageway and slip road closure for VRS replacement, diversion via National Highways and local authority network. o A2, from 8pm April 29 to 6am April 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A2 westbound, Gravesend to Bean, sip road and lane closure for electrical works.
