M62 traffic live as crash shuts 3 lanes bringing traffic to a standstill

Drivers are trapped in huge delays as a crash shuts three lanes of the M62[1] at rush hour. West Yorkshire Police have shut down the busy part of the motorway following the serious crash heading eastbound, just before Junction 27 for the M621 at Gildersome[2]. Three lanes out of four on the motorway have been shut, which has caused traffic[3] to be brought to a standstill to Junction 25 for Brighouse.

Our traffic partner Inrix says: "Severe delays and three lanes closed due to accident on M62 Eastbound before J27 M621 (Gildersome). Congestion to J25 ( Brighouse ). Lane two, three and four (of four).
