Arm-wrestling club finds strength in community

A Birmingham arm-wrestling group which started as a passion project has grown into an internationally competing group, its members say.

Based out of one of the group’s converted garden shed, the Birmingham Bullets said membership has soared from two or three to about 30.

The team said having a permanent base helped attract more people to the group and as interest for the sport grew, so did membership.

Headed by multiple-championship winning Chris Sanders, many of the members that joined said they have found friendship and camaraderie.
