Pacific Motorway crash, Brisbane: Driver and passengers flee the scene after their Mazda 3 flipped in a hit-and-run crash
A driver of an allegedly stolen car and three passengers fled the scene following a terrifying two-vehicle hit-and-run smash.
The crash happened on the Pacific Motorway near the Margaret Street off-ramp exit in Brisbane[2]‘s CBD on Monday night at 10:15pm.
A silver Toyota Kluger was hit from behind by a white Mazda 3 sedan.
The collision caused the sedan to flip over and land upside down.
The driver of the Mazda and the three passengers inside the vehicle allegedly fled the scene following the incident.

Shocking images at the scene of the crash showed the white Mazda lying upside down on the side of the road near the off-ramp.
The vehicle sustained significant damage in the collision, with parts of the car’s front exterior ripped apart and its windows broken.
The driver of the Toyota Kluger, who was the only person inside the SUV, sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.

Emergency services arrived at the scene following the crash but the driver of the Toyota Kluger refused to be taken to hospital.
The Mazda had earlier been reported stolen at an address in Archibald Street in Brisbane’s West End on February 4.
Queensland Police are investigating the incident and have urged anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
