Wilmslow driver clocked speeding through roadworks on motorway
Ali Waheed, of Handforth Road, pleaded guilty at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court to exceeding a temporary 50mph speed limit when the case was heard on December 27, last year.
The 37-year-old was caught on camera driving a vehicle at 68mph on the M621/M1, merging onto the M1 in Leeds on June 14, last year.
Waheed was fined £184 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £73 victim surcharge.
Magistrates also endorsed his driving licence with four penalty points.
The defendant was given until January 17 to pay the £347 court penalty.
