Warning of delays on M62 after crash
The motorway is partially blocked eastbound due to an accident from junction 7 of the A57 Warrington Road (Rainhill Stoops) to junction 8 of the A5281 Burtonwood Road (Warrington West / Burtonwood).
National Highways traffic officers from the outstation at Rob Lane in Newton-le-Willows attended and temporarily stopped traffic while vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder and carriageway was swept.
The incident was cleared by 8.10am and the motorway is running freely right now.
No one was injured and only light damage happened to the vehicles.
