Pictures released after ‘man flees scene of M62 motorway crash’

Police want to speak to this man in connection with a crash on the M62[1].

Two cars were involved in the collision near the Junction 36 Glews services, just outside Goole[2]. Following the crash, a man is believed to have fled the scene.

Today, officers released images of a man who they believe can help with their inquiries. The collision happened shortly after 3pm on Sunday, August 13, but full details have now been released.

In a statement, Humberside Police[3] said: “Can you help officers identify the man in these images as a part of an ongoing investigation into a road traffic collision on the M62 motorway[4] eastbound, near to the Glews services, on Sunday August 13? It is reported at around 3.10pm, two cars were involved in a collision before a man is believed to have fled the scene.

“Officers have been following extensive lines of enquiries, including address checks, and we are now in a position to release images of a man we are keen to speak to. If you know this man, or if this is you, please call our non-emergency number 101 quoting log number 367 of August 13.”
