Major incident on M8 as emergency services rush to ‘multi-car crash’

DRIVERS faced delays on a busy Scots motorway slip road after a major incident involving a “multi-car crash”.

Emergency services[1] raced to Junction 12 on the eastbound carriageway of the M8 near Riddrie, Glasgow, tonight.

There is also a double-decker bus involved in the incident.

Several police[2] cars including unmarked vehicles are also present.

The slip-road is the main access point onto the motorway[3] which appears to be locked down by police.

Police Scotland[4] have been approached for comment.
