M18 accident today live as two lorries crash and traffic held

Traffic is being held temporarily on a stretch of the M18 after two lorries crashed.

According to the traffic management system, Inrix, there are currently long delays as traffic is being held following the lorry crash. This took place on the M18 Northbound, before junction three at the A6182.

Congestion is currently building towards junction one at Bramley and the A1(M). Traffic is also slow on the other side.

Inrix said: "All traffic being temporarily held and long delays due to accident, two lorries involved on M18 Northbound before J3 A6182 Great Yorkshire Way (St Catherines). Congestion to almost J1 ( Bramley ) and the A1(M).

"Traffic is also slow on the opposite side."
