Live: M4 lanes closed after crash with long delays near Bristol

Long delays are growing on the M4 near Bristol after a crash this afternoon (January 17). Two lanes eastbound have been closed on the motorway across the bridge in Wales, leaving traffic moving slowly in the area.

According to traffic monitor Inrix, the closure is in place between junction 24 at Coldra and junction 32 for Magor services. Delays are reported in both directions between Newport and Magor.

Inrix reports: "Two lanes closed due to accident and people slowing to look at accident on the opposite side on M4 Eastbound from J24 A449 (Coldra) to J23A A4810 (Magor Services)."
