M606 speeder hit 110mph – now he must pay nearly £1,000

Liam Hodgkinson, of Marlington Drive in Huddersfield, was caught breaking the speed limit earlier this year – on September 13.

The 25-year-old exceeded the 70mph speed limit on the M606.

He pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at Bradford and Keighley[1] Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, December 20.

Hodgkinson was fined £576 and has to pay a £230 victim surcharge and court costs of £110.

His driving record was also endorsed with six points.

The £916 total will be paid in £50 monthly instalments, commencing on January 17, 2024.
