Live M25 updates as traffic held after multi-vehicle crash near Staines
Traffic has been held on the M25 near Staines and on approach to Heathrow Airport after reports of a multi-vehicle crash in the clockwise direction. Two cars and a van are thought to have been involved in the accident, which happened near Junction 13.
Congestion has been reported back to Junction 11 and Chertsey, according to National Highways. The incident was first reported around 11.15am (December 8). Live traffic maps from the AA have reported “severe delays” said to be increasing.
Travel service Inrix said: “All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident, two cars and a van involved on M25 clockwise from J13 A30 Staines By Pass (Staines) to J14 A3113 Airport Way (Heathrow).” It added: “Congestion to J12 (M3 interchange).” And said: “Traffic was held at 11:35.”
