Kerry Katona responds to backlash after going for a wee on motorway
Kerry Katona has hit back at the backlash she received after she relieved herself at the side of a motorway. Mum-of-five Kerry[1], who was on her way to perform as the Wicked Queen in panto in Ellesmere Port, got stuck in heavy trafifc on the M56.
She posted a video on Instagram documenting her mishap which sparked a variety of reactions from her followers. Mirror Online reports[2] that in the video, Kerry could be hearding asking her daughters: "Can anyone see me?!" and "Can people see my bum and everything?!"
Later responding to the negative comments, one of which called her action "embarrassing", Kerry recorded another video ahead of her Snow White show. She reportedly said: "Stop with the hate people, it's so unnecessary, it was just a laugh and a joke, it's actually making me upset."
Questioning the double standards, she said: "It's OK for men to do that, but women who actually give life and bear children, we can't do it, it's not fair." She went on: "Calm down with the hate guys! I didn't even do it, it was just a joke, I didn't even pee."
Adding to the situation, one of her daughters stated: "If you gotta pee, you gotta pee." In response to the criticism, Kerry told her daughter: "Thank you, give me five!," before giving her a high-five. With firm resolve, she then stated: "And for all your vile people for saying nasty things about me and my children, my children love me."
Many fans were quick to back Kerry, with one writing: "People are so sad and judgemental, I have been absolutely desperate for a wee whilst travelling and it was either having a wee in places you really don't want to or having an accident.... Get a reality check you judgemental people."
