M5, M4 and M48 traffic live as delays hit major roads

There are reports of delays on the M5, M4 and M48 this morning, Thursday, November 9, following a crash, a broken down vehicle and heavy congestion. According to roads traffic monitoring[1] service, Inrix, there is slow traffic on the southbound side of the M5 motorway at junction 16 following a collision.

It's believed the crash has been cleared but delays remain in the area. There are also delays at junction 15 of the M5 after a broken down vehicle sparked a lane closure on the southbound entry slip.

Additionally, there are reports of very slow traffic on the M4 and M48 eastbound heading towards the city. Around the Almondsbury Interchange there is congestion stretching to junction 21 of the M4.

Updates will appear in the blog below.
