Cirencester VW driver caught nearly three times the limit on the M5
He was nearly three time the legal limit, which is 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath. Janes, of Chesterton Lane, Cirencester, pleaded guilty to drink-driving at Worcester Justice Centre on Thursday, November 23.
He has been banned from driving for two years.
This could be reduced by 24 weeks if he completes a drink-driving course by April 7 in 2025.
Janes must pay a £114 victim surcharge plus £135 costs – a total of £249.
A community order was also imposed stating that the defendant must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
