MOTORISTS are being reported on the M6 following a crash this morning, Monday.

The accident occurred on the southbound carriageway of the motorway at rush hour.

One lane is currently closed and very slow traffic is being reported as a result.

This is between junction 21A for the M62 at Croft Interchange to junction 21 for the A57 Manchester Road at Woolston.

Motorists are being advised to allow extra time for journeys.
