There are delays for motorists in Dublin this morning after collisions on the M50.

Traffic persists to be slow in Dublin on the M50 southbound from the M1 interchange due to a collision just before Junction 7, Lucan, in the central median.

Another crash has occurred on the M1 southbound between junction 5, Balbriggan, and junction 4, Donabate, blocking off the right lane and causing delays for motorists

Drivers are being cautioned to take care on the roads as Mét Eireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for Leinster with warnings of localised flooding, reduced visibility and dangerous road conditions.

Meanwhile, in Dublin city centre a number of roads around Leinster House are closed including Kildare Street, Molesworth Street, Merrion Street Upper, West and South.

Lights also remain out of action on the Stillorgan road at the Nutley Lane junction this morning.

Those travelling on the Luas will face delays this morning following a medical emergency.

Passengers on the Red Line should be aware that services are operating with delays.
