The multiple Cov roadworks that will affect drivers in the week ahead

Motorists are being warned to watch out for 30 different roadworks projects taking place this week in several parts of Coventry[1]. The latest list of traffic works being carried out in the city has been issued by Coventry City Council[2].

It shows a number of projects will be under way on our roads in the week beginning October 23. Other works will still be rumbling on this week that are already happening.

But for drivers, whether new or continuing, the roadworks will be another thing they need to navigate. Some schemes are significant, others less serious, but all may make you consider how you want to get in and out and around the city in the coming days.

Among the works taking place are road schemes connected to the massive Eastern Green project. That will see around 2,250 homes built in the city as well as a new school and business.

Other works taking place are over cycleways, footpaths, Severn Trent Water work and electricity work. A number of roads also face disruption for the repair of potholes.

Below is a list of all the roadworks you need to know about. The information all comes from Coventry City Council’s website[4].
