Man in his 20s dead in M6 crash at High Wreay
Police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred yesterday evening (October 16) on the M6 southbound at High Wreay.[1]
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Subsequently, a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He remains in police custody.
Officers were contacted at 7:53pm to the report of a one-vehicle crash, involving a white BMW.
It is believed the BMW entered the M6 motorway from junction 42 and headed south.
The incident caused a temporary road closure, with the road having since reopened[2].
