M5 clears after ‘traffic problem’ in Somerset

There were delays on the M5 in Somerset this evening (October 25). According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, there was a “traffic problem” heading towards Bristol.

The problem began between junction 22 for Burnham-on-Sea and junction 21 for Weston-super-Mare at around 7.50pm. The road cleared and traffic returned to normal shortly after 9pm.

Inrix says: “Traffic easing, traffic returned to normal on M5 Northbound from J22 (Burnham-on-sea) to J21 A370 (Weston-super-mare).”
