M2 lane closed from junction 5 at Sittingbourne, to junction 4 at Gillingham due to flooding with queues back to Faversham
Drivers have been warned of hour-long delays after a motorway lane has closed due to flooding.
There are 14 miles of queueing traffic between Faversham and Gillingham along the M2 this afternoon.

One lane of the westbound carriageway between junction 5 at the Stockbury Roundabout in Sittingbourne and junction 4 for Hoath Way, Gillingham has been shut.
National Highways has warned of the extra time being taken with hundreds of motorists stuck in the jam.
The agency has advised normal traffic conditions are not expected until about 6.30pm.
It comes as alerts for flooding and high winds[1] have been issued as an existing warning for heavy rain remains in place.
