From council estate to top London hotel’s youngest head chef
Tom Booton grew up on a council estate in Colchester, Essex, and it was his hark work, determination and love of cooking that helped him become the youngest head chef at The Grill at the Dorchester Hotel four years ago, at the age of 26.
Now 30, he has the honour of having his name placed above the restaurant’s front door.
