M5 traffic live as multi-vehicle crash blocks motorway near Bristol

The M5 is blocked[1] near Bristol following a crash this afternoon (September 18). According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the collision took place heading northbound and involved two cars.

There are now delays near junction 16 for Aztec West, in South Gloucestershire. The crash was first reported at 12.07pm.

Inrix says: "One lane blocked and traffic building up due to accident, two cars involved on M5 Northbound at J16 A38 Gloucester Road (Aztec West). Lane one (of three) is blocked by the exit slip."
