Four teens charged for throwing items onto motorway causing crash
Four teenagers have been arrested over a series of incidents which led to a car crash on a motorway.
Two 14-year-old boys and two 15-year-old boys were charged with “culpable and reckless conduct” after a number of items were thrown from the Kelty flyover onto M90 in Fife.
Police Scotland said an 11-year-old boy was also involved but was too young to be charged.
The incidents happened between August 21 and August 29.
They include a motorbike frame being thrown onto a lorry as well as tyres being tossed onto the motorway which damaged a vehicle.
“Unknown” objects were thrown onto the M90 on two separate occasions, one causing damage to a car and the other resulting in a crash.
