Delays after M5 spillage closes Droitwich junction

People trying to join the M5, southbound, at junction 5 (Droitwich) are being stopped due to a spillage.

The Motorway Camera website said there has been a spillage on the Droitwich exit, which has closed the slip road. 

An eyewitness said: "There are lots of traffic police and a build-up of cars.

"Looks like something has been cleared, but they're throwing loads of sand around. 

"They're stopping people getting on the motorway."

According to the AA, the southbound slip road has been closed due to a "shed load", and traffic is "coping well" considering. 

Traffic has so far built up the A38 and on Stoke Road.
