Bridge strengthening works at the Swanley Interchange to last until November
Bridge strengthening works taking place on a busy road are set to last until November.
Major work is being carried out at Junction 3 of the M25, at the Swanley[1] Interchange.

The work first started in July and traffic lights are to remain in place throughout September and into November.
Part of the junction is closed overnight this week for workers to move their working area over to the left-hand lane.
The eastern section of the junction between the M20 coastbound entry and London-bound exit slip roads is shut every day until Sunday (September 3) between 10pm and 5am.
Works on the west bridge are planned to take place next summer.

Motorway traffic will be diverted via the M20 coastbound to Junction 2 and return.
A diversion for non-motorway traffic will be in place via the A20 Londonbound to the Crittalls Corner roundabout, the A224 southbound to Dunton Green, the A25 eastbound and the A225 northbound, returning to the A20 at Farningham.
